Valence is a southern city Rhône-Alpes and the prefecture of department of Drôme. You will find in Valence a rich heritage and a flourishing gastronomy with several starred chefs in the town. Valencia is a sunny, dynamic and welcoming city, between the Vercors and the Provence.

- 5 Saint-Apollinaire Cathedral – Originally consecrated in 1095, Valence Cathedral was rebuilt identically in the 17th century following the wars of religion. It is Romanesque in style and has many decorations in polychrome stones. In the ambulatory, a bust of Pope Pius VI, attributed to Antonio Canova, contains his entrails and recalls that the latter, after being arrested in Valencia in 1798, died there.
