- 1 Former collegiate church: Collegiate Church of the former Garsten Benedictine Abbey; Begun in 1677 under the Italian master builder Pietro Francesco Carlone, completed by his sons Carlo Antonio Carlone and Giovanni Battista Carlone. Today parish church Assumption Day.
- Former Benedictine monastery. Abandoned baroque pen. The master builder was P.F. Carlone, completed by Jakob Prandtauer after his death. Baroque design by Kremser Schmidt, among others. Today the monastery serves as a prison.
