Urban centers
- Gavar - Capital of the province of Gegharkunik.
- Martuni - Ancient capital of the province of Gegharkunik, it preserves an Iron Age fort, discovered in 1997 by an Armenian archaeological group-Italian.
- Sevan - Famous resort on the northwestern banks of the Sevan lake and surrounded by Sevan National Park.
- Shorzha - Village on the eastern shores of Lake Sevan, with some very pleasant and relaxing views, with a peaceful atmosphere.
- Vardenis - Hidden in the southeast corner of the lake 20km north of the Porak volcano. There are some small monasteries and chapels, as well as mountains and valleys, but only those who make it this far will have the chance to see them.
