Gourette is a winter sports resort of Pyrenees. It belongs to the municipality of Eaux-Bonnes, on the border between Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrenees, and is home to a ski area of ​​nearly 90 hectares stretching from 1400 to 2,450 meters altitude.

The resort, which has a rail park and two snow parks, is one of the few to offer a drop of more than a thousand meters in the Pyrenees. The influence of the oceanic climate favors significant snow cover which is maintained until the beginning of spring. Its 300,000 visitors per season make it one of the busiest in the region New Aquitaine.
