Grosseto is the largest city in the Maremma Grossetana. The city center is located about 15 km from the sea. Grosseto is the capital of the province (GR). The city extends over the entire valley.

By plane
L'"Baccarini" airport of Grosseto it is currently closed to civilian traffic; with the exception of some sporadic charter flights. The nearest airports are at Florence (about 85 km) Pisa (about 160 km north), and Rome (about 180 km south).

ARZ line Milan ↔ Grosseto, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Milan MM1 Lampugnano - Bus terminal. Extra-urban bus line managed by the company Arzilli.
