Gudvangen is a small town in the municipality of Aurland. The place is easily accessible by passing the E16 due to its location at the end of the Nærøyfjords a popular vacation spot in Norway.

Kjelfossen
  • Nærøyfjord. The Nærøyfjord is the narrowest and one of the shortest fjords in Norway. Together with the Geirangerfjord the fjord has been part of the World cultural heritage by UNESCO and one of the main attractions in Gudvangen.
  • Kjelfossen. The waterfall with a total height of over 800 m has a maximum continuous fall height of 149 m. You can see the waterfall from the road - from the direction of travel Flam coming you should stop immediately after leaving the Gudvanga tunnel to view the waterfall. From Gudvangen you can hike to the foot of the waterfall.
