Gurdjaani - city in Georgia, located in the region Kakheti, which is the main town of the Gurjaani province.
Characteristic
The area around and in the Gurjaani was already inhabited in the Stone Age. The oldest church is from the 8th century. Like the rest of the Kakheti region, the Gurdjaani is also an important wine region. The new city was founded in 1934.

Gurdjaani is located 102 km from Tbilisi Airport, the largest in Georgia. LOT Polish Airlines (FLIGHT) offer a direct connection from Warsaw to Tbilisi.
By rail
By car
The main road of Kakheti No. 5 runs from Tbilisi or the Azerbaijani border. In Bakurtsikhe, take road 42, 10 km towards Telavi.
By bus
A marshrutka towards Telavi from Tbilisi, but not on road 38, also runs via Gurdjaani.
In addition, several marshrutkas run between Gurjaani and Telavi, Sighnaghi and Tnori.
