Gythio is a city in eastern Mani in the region Laconia. Since 2010 the administrative center of the municipality has been in Gythio Eastern mani (Anatoliki Mani).

Gythio, also Gytheion, Greek: Γύθειο, was the port of in ancient times Sparta.
