The Vietnamese city Hà Tiên is a city in the extreme southwest of the country near the Cambodian border. Nice beaches and a beautiful surrounding landscape make the city quite attractive to visitors.

Bus: Buses connect the city with Ho Chi Minh City (13 hours) as well as with Cần Thơ (7 hours, with change in Rạch Giá or Rạch Sỏi)
Boat: Regular boat traffic connects the city with the popular holiday island Phu Quốc.
Arriving from Cambodia: The border crossing has been open since May 24, 2007 Prek Chak / Xa Xia ("Hà Tiên-Crossing") also open to foreigners. The next significant places on the Cambodian side are Kep and Kampot. The next big place in Vietnam is Hà Tiên. The drive from Kampot to the border on Route 33 takes about an hour and a quarter. The price is currently $ 5- $ 15 for the Motodup and $ 10- $ 25 for the Tuk-Tuk and should settle somewhere in the lower half of the range. On the Vietnamese side, mopeds drive for $ 2-4 Hà Tiên and Ba Hon. There are boat connections from both cities Phu Quốc.
