Arriving from Cambodia: The border crossing has been open since May 24, 2007 Prek Chak / Xa Xia ("Hà Tiên-Crossing") also open to foreigners. The next significant places on the Cambodian side are Kep and Kampot. The next big place in Vietnam is Hà Tiên. The drive from Kampot to the border on Route 33 takes about an hour and a quarter.
