The Vietnamese province Hu Giang is located in the Mekong Delta in the south of the country.
Regions
In addition to the two independent cities Vị Thanh and Ngã Bảy the province consists of the nine districts Chau Thanh, Châu Thành A, Long Mỹ, Phụng Hiệp and Vị Thủy.

- Ngã Bảy was created in 2005 by decree by splitting off from Phụng Hiệp and called himself first Tân Hiệp. It was renamed Ngã Bảy in 2006 due to protests by the local population.
