The Vietnamese province Hải Dương is lying in Red River Delta in the north of the country east of the capital Hanoi.

Next to the capital Hải Dương the province is divided into eleven further districts: Bình Giang, Cẩm Giàng, Chi Linh, Gia Lộc, Kim Thành, Kinh Mon, Nam Sách, Ninh Giang, Thanh Ha, Thanh Miện, Tứ Kỳ.

The province is not only known for its agricultural products such as lychees. Nowadays it is one of the most developed regions in the country. Next Ho Chi Minh City and the province Bình Dương it is one of the three magnets for foreign investors.

Minorities like them live in the province Hoa, Sán Dìu and Mường.
