Hańcza - Hańcza

The Hańcza is the deepest lake in Poland. It is located in the northeastern voivodeship Podlaskie in the Suwałki Lake District. It is very popular with water sports enthusiasts. In the lake has the river Czarna Hańcza its origin, which is one of the most popular canoe routes in Poland.

getting there

The area around the lake is quite wild, but well developed for tourism. It is located east of Masuria. The Olsztyn Airport is at Szczytno.
