Hall in Tirol is a historic city in Tyrol with about 12,300 inhabitants. It is located 5 kilometers east of innsbruck in the Inn Valley.

Historical old city
- Mint tower Hasegg Castle Museum / Hall Mint. Tel.: 43 (0) 5223 5855 520, Email: [email protected].Landmark of the city, part of Hasegg Castle. The 46 m high tower can be climbed via approx. 200 steps. From above you have a nice view over Hall and that Karwendel. It offers itself. a tower ascent with a visit to the Museum "Hasegg Castle / Hall Mint" to connect (combination cards available) (as of 2016).Open: Apr - Oct Tue - Sun 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (last admission 4 p.m.).Price: Admission: adults: € 5.50, children: € 4.50, family ticket: € 13.00.
- 1 Hasegg Castle: was built to protect the city and to monitor the Roman road.
- town hall: Originally it was the town castle of Count Heinrich von Görz-Tirol (1295–1335), who also called it the “royal house”. In 1406 it became the property and town hall of the city as a gift from the Habsburg Leopold IV.
- 2 Nikolauskirche: The parish church in Hall was built in 1281 and constantly expanded. It is dedicated to Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of boatmen and miners.
- Magdalenenkapelle. It stands next to the Nikolauskirche. The former cemetery chapel has served as a war memorial since 1923. The late Gothic winged altar (2nd half of the 15th century) and the wall paintings from 3 epochs (1410-1610) are worth seeing.

- 3 Mining museum : The Schmalzwaage, the former warehouse for natural produce, now serves as a museum building. You can see a walk-in tunnel, shafts and a slide.

To go biking
The known Inn cycle path From Innsbruck to Passau leads past in the immediate vicinity, there are also several tours available especially for mountain bikers. These range from leisurely cycling routes to challenging mountain slopes.

In Tyrol's largest nature park, the Karwendel Alpine Park. There are routes of different lengths and degrees of difficulty available. The best known are:

- Eagle Walk
- Historical circular hiking trail
Climb
The 10km long Halltall, which goes from the Inn valley to the Karwendel is the ideal starting point for climbing tours of all kinds. The Alpine Club Hall offers ideal climbing conditions with seven climbing gardens. The classic routes are of difficulty level 6, a few easier routes in the 4 and 5 range are also available. If you want to get to know the extreme side, you can try routes in the upper 8 and 9 range.
Regular events
- Language salt. International literature festival Hall i.T., which has been inviting around 20 international authors and authors to readings every year since 2003, most of which take place in the Parkhotel.
- Haller Dumpling Festival. The festival takes place on two days in July around the town hall. There are dumplings, from exotic to traditional, with live music. The celebration takes place on Friday from 5pm to 10pm and Saturday from 10am to 10pm.
- Radish Festival. 60% of all radishes grown in Austria and many other types of vegetables are grown here in the "North Tyrolean Vegetable Pleasure Region". The harvest is celebrated at the annual Radish Festival on Hall's upper town square with music, local delicacies and radishes.
- Organic mountain farmers festival
- Easter Festival Tyrol. The Easter Festival Tirol has been realizing events at the highest artistic level in the areas of classical European and traditional non-European music, as well as dance, poetry and performance for more than 20 years. Since the festival began, the focus has been on the dialogue between different cultures and religions.
