Hallein surroundings

nightlife

Almost all of the nightlife takes place in Hallein's city center (Griestorgasse, Bayrhamerplatz, Kuffergasse), and it is only at a late hour that the nightlife occasionally shifts towards Neualm, to the local discos.

Especially in summer, the guest gardens attract numerous visitors to the individual restaurants, which are located in the middle of the historic city center. The guest gardens are already closed between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. (Gastgarten Ordinance) and, with a few exceptions, there is also a curfew in the interior around 2 a.m. For night owls there are two alternatives: either in the direction of Neualm, where the localities are open until the early hours of the morning, or in the direction of Salzburg. The latter is no longer recommended at such a late hour, it is better to tackle this goal with a train before 23:00.

In general, the range of bars in the old town lies between cozy chill-out bars and bars that are packed to the brim.
