The 1 Hauenstein (Pfalz) train station is very remote in the middle of an industrial area. For this reason, 2010 became the new 2 Hauenstein Mitte station opens which is much closer to the place and also has a bus connection and should therefore be the method of choice. From the beginnings of shoe manufacturing to the modern age; On display are various tools for making shoes, typical apartments of a shoe worker and various famous shoes, including the largest pair of shoes in the world (size 248).
