The next train station is Lauterbach at the Vogelsbergbahn. The Vogelsbergbahn connects to water With Fulda. In Fulda there is a connection to the ICE network.

In the summer half-year from May 1st to the end of October there is an exemplary network of leisure bus routes (with bike transport) on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The Vogelsberger Vulkan-Express lines meet in a star shape on the Hoherodskopf.
