The district Hhohho is in the northwest of Eswatini. It borders on the South African province Mpumalanga as well as to the districts Manzini and Lubombo.

Ezulwini Valley
The valley extends from the capital Mbabane to the southeast to Matsapha, it is flanked by the Mdzimba Mountains in the east and the Lupholo and Lugogo Mountains in the west. These house the nature reserve Mantenga Nature Reserve and the wildlife sanctuary Milwane Wildlife Sanctuary. There are numerous markets in this valley where local artisans sell their products.

Lobamba
The most important place in the Ezulwini Valley is Lobamba with the Ludzidzini, the royal village. Here has the Mswati III, the Ngwenyama (Lion = King) of the Swazi, his residence, together with his numerous wives and children.
