History
In 1689, Jönköping's rifle factory was moved to the fall of Huskvarnaån. In 1867 it became a limited company, and in 1894 the city was connected by the Jönköping-Vireda railway. Industries were established at the end of the 19th century, and a city began to emerge - about 1,500 inhabitants by the middle of the 1880s. In 1911, the city of Huskvarna was formed, and then had 6,000 inhabitants. After a strong expansion due to the development of the industries, Huskvarna was built together with Jönköping, which is why Huskvarna ceased to be its own municipality in 1971.
