- Vathy (Βαθύ) - The island capital is located in a deep bay on the east coast closed by the islet called "Lazaretto".
- Frikes (Φρίκες) - A little further north of Kioni, Frikes is a tiny village that some identify with the ancient port of Rithros, mentioned by Homer.
- Kioni (Κιόνι) - A marina in a natural gulf where numerous private yachts anchor. It was once a den of pirates.
How to get
- With the ferries of the company "Strintzis" [1]. sailing from Patras calling at the port of Sami (Kefalonia) before arriving at the Pisoderion pier.
