Geography
The administrative region of Jönköping is situated in the central part of Götaland and comprises the northwestern part of the historical province (landskap) of Småland and, since 1 January 1998, the municipalities of Mullsjö and Habo which are part of Västergötland.
It borders on administrative regions Halland, Västra Götaland, Östergötland, Squid and Kronoberg.
