Jawor - a large village in Poland, in Silesian Voivodeship, on the premises Bielsko County. Jaworze is one of the largest villages in the poviat and the voivodeship. It is also the only village of the Jaworze commune.
Location and access
Jaworze sat down at the northern threshold of the Silesian Beskids in a branch of the longitudinal mountain arms connecting in the Błotny massif (917 m), also popularly known as Błatnia. Deeply indented valleys and steeply descending forested slopes of Bucznik (679 m), Ostry (659 m), Mud (718 m) and Palenica (688 m) create a charming background for Jaworze, located on the hills.
Access to the village is possible thanks to the DW944 and the S52 running through the neighboring Jasienica. In addition to the roads to Jaworze, there is also a track with a railway station built in the 19th century.
