By plane
- 1 [link not working]Dubai-Al Maktum International Airport (IATA: DWC). It is open to passenger flights. It is currently only served by low-cost carriers Wizz Air and Jazeera. Most flights land at Dubai International Airport in the area of Deira.
Port of Jebel Ali
- 2 Port of Jebel Ali. The largest man-made port in the world and the largest port in the Middle East. It was built in the late 1970s to complement the facilities of Port Rashid. It is located thirty-five kilometers southwest of Dubai in the Persian Gulf. On April 9, 2011, Jebel Ali Port won the Golden Award for the best seaport ever by the United Arab Emirates Superior Seaport and Airport Security Committee.
