Jindřichův Hradec (German: Neuhaus) is a district town in the region South bohemia and the location of one of the largest castles in the Czech Republic. The city museum also has the largest mechanical Christmas crib in the world.

The historic city center has been an urban monument reserve since 1961.
- Jindřichův Hradec Castle
- Regional museum in the former Jesuit college. You can see the world's largest mechanical Christmas crib, carved by Tomáš Krýza (1838–1918).
- Market square with renaissance and baroque ensembles as well as the town hall
- Trinity Column, on the marketplace. By 1764.
- Church of the Assumption. Built in 1360, rebuilt several times.
- Maria Magdalena Church. Erected 13.-14. Century by the Teutonic Knights, 1628-1632 renewed and 1670 baroque.
- Church of St. John the Baptist. Middle of the 14th century, rebuilt several times. On the north side a cloister with late Gothic frescoes as well as a Gothic drapery chapel and a baroque Lady Chapel.
- Former synagogue and Jewish cemetery
- Reconstructed tannery houses, on the Nežárka.
- Tapestry house, in the former brewery. Focus on Marie Hoppe-Teinitzer's weaving work.
