Jáchymov(German: Saint Joachimsthal) is the world's oldest radium brine spa in the Karlovy Vary district in Czech Republic.

Joachimsthal had become prosperous through silver finds in the 16th century. Silver coins minted here, Joachimsthaler, gave the city its name Thaler and the dollar.
Mainly diseases of the musculoskeletal system and the peripheral nervous system are treated. These include: rheumatic diseases, equestrian diseases, and inflammatory diseases of the limbs,
