Kasane is a small town in northeast of Botswana on the south bank of the Chobe River just a few kilometers from its confluence with the Zambezi.

The city Kasane is a popular tourist place for visiting the Chobe National Parkas it is only a few kilometers from its entrance gate Sedudu Gate away. Since the park is not fenced in, it is quite possible that you will meet warthogs on the streets in the evening or that a herd of elephants is looking for food along the main road.

The borders of the four countries meet in the vicinity of the village Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe each other, making the place a popular starting point for excursions to the Caprivi Strip or the Victoria Waterfalls.
