By plane
- 1 Palanga International Airport (IATA: PLQ) (30 km north of Klaipeda). It is the international airport serving the western regions of Lithuania and the closest to Klaipėda. Served by airBaltic, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Scandinavian Airlines System and UTair, it offers seasonal and non-seasonal connections to theNorthern Europe, the Anglo-Saxon islands, the Latvia and the Russia. Traveling along the A13 towards Klaipėda you can reach the city in a short half hour.

- 4 Clock Museum, Liepų gatvė 12. Tue-Sat 12: 00-18: 00, Sun: 12: 00-17: 00. It exhibits various examples of vintage watches.

Owned by the renowned jewelry Amber Queen you can find unique pieces of jewelry also enjoying a guided tour that illustrates the various techniques of amber processing.

Sea festival in 2017
- Sea festival (Jūros šventė). The last weekend of July. Celebrated since 1934, it includes open-air concerts, fairs and markets on the banks of the Danė River. All seasoned with a spectacular and colorful procession through the streets of the port and the city.
