Klitmøller is a locality on Thy in North Jutland.

Klitmøller is a former fishing village on the west coast of Thy, in which fishing is still carried out on a small scale with traditional boats, but which now lives mainly from tourism. Among surfers, Klitmøller - together with Nørre Vorupør - the reputation as Cold Hawaii to be one of the best surf spots in Europe that even attracts surfers from the USA. The prerequisite for this is the mostly strong north-westerly wind at this north-westerly tip of Denmark, which makes for spectacular waves. However, if the east wind blows, the surfers only have stand up paddling.

The small beach promenade, which was laid out at the beginning of the 2010s, has changed the character of the beach, which used to be dominated by fishing, and instead of walking across sand you can now walk on concrete slabs above the entire beach in the local area, which of course has also contributed to accessibility. Benches and picnic facilities have been set up above the surfers' beach. At the western end of the beach, where it bends to the south, a large wooden platform was also built with ramps, play areas and plenty of seating.
