  • The Promnice Hunting Palace in Kobiórze - a palace located among the forests of the Pszczyna Forest near the south-western part of the Paprocańskie Lake. Known mainly due to the Hochbergs and Promnitzes, who came here to fish for game. The castle was built in the nineteenth century in the English neo-Gothic style with visible German influences according to the design of Olivier Pavelt - the court architect of the Hochbergs.
  • "Stara Smolarnia" Regional Chamber - a regional museum established in 2003, located in a 19th-century, wooden, nicely decorated building - the so-called tar factory. In the facility you can find period furniture, instruments, crosses, devotional items, dishes, everyday items, books, magazines, wardrobe items and exhibitions presenting the local fauna.
  • Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - the Roman Catholic parish church in Kobiórze was built in 1911 thanks to the permission of the bishop of Wrocław. Soon after, a parish cemetery and a presbytery were established. Currently, the building is the only Catholic church within 4 kilometers from Kobiór.

Transport

In 1870 a station was built and a railroad connecting today Katowice With Bielsko, Vistula and borderline Zebrzydowice, as well as a dirt road, now transformed into national road no. 1 (DK1 Gdańsk - Łódź - Katowice - Cieszyn). In addition to DK 1, the provincial road connecting Kobiór with Mikołów.
