Worth seeing

According National Heritage Institute, there are the following historic buildings in the village:

The temple is preserved in the Baroque style, oriented, the chapel has a baptismal font with a Baroque sculpture of St. John the Baptist, and the presbytery windows are decorated with stained glass designed by prof. Adam Bunsch from Krakow.

It is worth looking at the tombstones placed in the church, many of them are historic, and especially the only example of a Renaissance knight's sculpture from 1572 on the tombstone of Jerzy Liszka in the left wall of the chancel.

There is a grave of those killed in the Polish-Czech war of 1919 in the church cemetery.

  • 18th century presbytery
  • palace (castle) At the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, a defensive manor house was erected on the Piotrówka River (nowadays sometimes called a castle and sometimes a palace), surrounded by a pond and a marshy meadow. After numerous reconstructions, the manor has lost its defensive features, and it is difficult to recreate its original shape. The palace is now the seat of the Municipal Cultural Center (ul. Janusza 21, http://www.gok.zebrzydowice.pl, tel. 32 4693334).
