Kochlew - Kochlew

Kochlew - village in Poland, in voivodeship of Lodz, in Wieluń County, in Wierzchlas commune.
In the years 1875–1998, the town administratively belonged to the Sieradz Province.
Geographical coordinates: 51 ° 11′50 ″ N 18 ° 46′17 ″ E The village with about 40 homesteads is located on the right bank of the Warta, 2 km north of Krzeczowa.
Between these villages, the river bank forms a high escarpment, which offers a beautiful panorama of the Warta flowing below.
There is an old wooden electric mill (formerly a water mill) from 1928, entered on the list of monuments of the National Heritage Institute, registry number: 341 of October 6, 1986.
There is also a wayside shrine with a figure of St. John the Baptist, according to legends, it was brought in the past by a flood.
