The province of Krabi is a popular beach destination on the Andaman Sea in the south of thailand. The province is known for its good places for diving and snorkelling, and for its beautiful beaches.

By airplane

Krabi International Airport (KBV) is about 15 km from the city centre, 40 km from Ao Nang and 23 km from Had Yao. Thai Airways operates daily direct flights to/fromBangkok, as well as Air Asia from Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Bangkok Airway has flights to Ko Samui almost every day of the week.
