Leshan (simplified Chinese: 乐山; traditional Chinese: 樂山; pinyin: Lèshān; Wade-Giles: Le-shan; literally "mountain of happiness"), ancient name Jiazhou (嘉州) is a prefecture-level city in the province. Sichuan, China. Leshan is located in south-central Sichuan. Leshan is 170 km from Chengdu. Lac Son's signature flower is begonia.

- Leshan Dai Buddha (simplified Chinese: 乐山大佛, traditional Chinese: 樂山大佛, pinyin: Lèshān Dàfó), also known as Lang Van Dai Buddha or Gia Dinh Dai Buddha, is the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. This Maitreya Buddha statue is carved into The Loan cliff of Lang Van mountain, located at the confluence of three rivers, the Min Giang, Dai Do and Qing Yi in the southern Sichuan province of China. China, about 3 km east of Lac Son town. The stone statue faces Emi Mountain, and the river flows at the feet of the Buddha.
