La Aldea de San Nicolás is a municipality on the west coast of Gran Canaria.

Entrance to Cactualdea
La Aldea de San Nicolás, also known by its former official name San Nicolás de Tolentino, is located in the west of the island of Gran Canaria. When you get closer to the place, the first thing you notice are the huge greenhouses under which tomatoes, eggplants, avocados and other fruits are grown. The port is located on the coast about three kilometers away Puerto de la Aldea.

The international 1 Gran Canaria Airport
(IATA: LPA) is located about 93 km by road and 18 km south of the island's capital Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and is about that GC-200 and

Mirador del Balcón
- 6 Cactualdea is about 2 km south of San Nicolás near the small town Tocodomán located cactus park. In addition to these South and Central American plants, there are also numerous other succulents from all over the world such as euphorbias, agaves and aloes. In addition to a shop, there is a wine cellar (with cactus liqueur) and a restaurant. Open daily 10 am-6pm, adult admission € 7, including menu € 13.
- 7 Mirador del Balcón is a lookout point on the coastal road GC-200 with sufficient parking space. Good look after Puerto de las Nieves at Agaete and to the southwest side of the neighboring island Tenerife.
Los azulejos
- 8 Los azulejos will be at the GC-200 between Mogan and La Aldea called strange colored rock formations. There are smaller parking spaces at some of the sightseeing points, and there is also a bar at the most beautiful spot.

- Güi güi, Nature reserve near La Aldea. The 1 Beach is considered one of the most beautiful on the island. However, it can only be reached after a hike of several hours or by boat.
- Fiesta del Charco. A festival that takes place every year on September 11th at Playa de San Nicolás. In the course of this, several younger people jump into the water to catch fish with their bare hands.
