The Hague (in Dutch Den Haag or the official name 's-Gravenhage) is a town of Netherlands. The Hague is the capital of the province South holland (Zuid-Holland).

By plane

  • Airport Schiphol (Amsterdam) is forty-five kilometers north of The Hague. The train then takes you to The Hague Holland Spoor (Den Haag HS) or Den Haag Centraal Station.
  • Rotterdam The Hague Airport, near Rotterdam is twenty kilometers from The Hague. No train to this airport but buses to the train station Rotterdam. There are not many international flights from Rotterdam.

By train

The Dutch train system is very efficient: Schiphol airport, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht are all within an hour by train. The Hague is unfortunately no longer served by the Thalys which now runs between Paris, Brussels, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

The two stations are also connected by the tram network. Please note trains from Amsterdam to Rotterdam and in the direction of Belgium serve Den Haag HS and not CS station. By bus

The company FlixBus offers round trips from Paris to The Hague every day for a price starting from 19 . The trip lasts h 50 and departures are from Porte de Maillot. The bus line also goes through Brussels, Antwerp and Rotterdam. There are approximately 4 departures per day: to h 00, at 12 h 00, at 15 h 30 and one night bus at 23 h 55 who arrives in The Hague towards h 00 in the morning. If you do not have time to book your ticket online, you can also buy the ticket directly from the bus driver. On board the coaches you have access to Wi-Fi and electrical outlets located at each seat. You can take 3 pieces of luggage at no additional cost: 1 piece of hand luggage plus two pieces of luggage in the hold. Arrived in The Hague, the coach will drop you off at the central station.
