Viverone Lake is a lake of the Piedmont.

Geographical notes
It is a lake of glacial origin, the third in Piedmont by surface, is located at about 230 m a.s.l. it has a perimeter of approximately 10.5 km and a maximum depth of 70 m. It extends for 3.4 km along the north-south route and 2.3 km along the east-west route.
Background
It is one of the few sites in Piedmont with evidence of Bronze Age pile dwellings present mainly in the western area of the lake, and has been included by UNESCO in the "Prehistoric pile-dwelling sites around the Alps".
