The ship was 82.4 meters long and 12.6 meters wide and had a tonnage of 2,730 gross tons. Its 6-cylinder engine gave the ship a maximum speed of 12 knots. Coming from Aqaba, the ship loaded with phosphates ran aground on August 21, 1984 and sank.

The underwater world includes table corals, gorgonians, fire corals and soft corals as well as occasional white tip reef sharks and leopard sharks in the area of ​​the southern lagoon

Wreck of the cormorant / Zingara

Doctor fish, butterfly fish, large school barbel and damselfish are found near the wreck.
