Stop De Haan aan Zee

The Coastal Tram (from Kusttram in Dutch) is the best way to get to Le Coq by public transport. The tram line runs from De Panne near the border french To Knokke near the border dutch. A distinctive feature of Le Coq is the whimsical architecture of many of its commercial and / or residential buildings. Many buildings are in a style Belle Epoque. These buildings can be a reason in themselves to visit Le Coq. Most of the buildings of interest are located between the tram line and the beach. Commercial buildings (hotels and restaurants) are located on the road between the tram stop and the beach and along the beach itself. The more residential streets are also worth a detour for a walk.
