By car
The traveler, who wants to bring their own car, will have to travel to a port from where car ferries to Cyprus depart. The shortest crossing, from Turkey, is not an option to reach Limassol. The authorities do not allow that. Greece is closer to the Benelux than the countries in the eastern part of the Mediterranean, but still a long journey if the car is included.
