By train

There are no ways to go by train!

By car

The traveler, who wants to bring their own car, will have to travel to a port from where car ferries to Cyprus depart. The shortest crossing, from Turkey, is not an option to reach Limassol. The authorities do not allow that. Greece is closer to the Benelux than the countries in the eastern part of the Mediterranean, but still a long journey if the car is included.

By bus

By boat

Limassol is the main port of the southern part of the island and travelers are allowed to arrive in Cyprus from abroad through this port. There are (car) ferry connections with, among others, from Athens/piraeus in Greece, Haifa in Israel and Port Said in Egypt
