Easy to reach from Cologne
By plane
The closest airport is the Cologne Bonn Airport. From there, take the RB 27 or S 19 to Köln Messe Deutz station: Then take the tram line 1 (every 10 minutes (every 20 minutes in the morning), every 15 minutes on Sundays) to the Bensberg final stop, where you can take the 421 bus (on Mon. -For every 30 minutes, on weekends every hour) to Lindlar bus station. By car: A 59 towards Oberhausen / Düsseldorf, then continue on A 4 (towards Olpe) to exit 21 (Untereschbach), there follow the signs towards Lindlar.
From Dusseldorf Airport with the regional express lines RE 1 or RE 5 to Cologne Messe / Deutz. Then see above. By car: A 44 to Kreuz Ratingen-Ost, then A 3 (towards Cologne) to Kreuz Köln-Ost, then A 4 (towards Olpe) to exit 21 "Untereschbach", there follow the signs towards Lindlar.
By train
From Cologne (Neumarkt, Köln Messe Deutz train station) tram line 1 to Bensberg, then bus line 421, or alternatively: regional train 25 in the direction of Gummersbach, Meinerzhagen or Lüdenscheid to Engelskirchen station, then line 331 (three regular trips a week in the afternoon, otherwise and on Weekend taxi bus (= pre-order by telephone)) or 332 (hourly during the week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on weekends taxi bus) to Lindlar bus station.
By bus
Buses from Cologne (SB 40), Leverkusen (227), Bergisch Gladbach-Zentrum (227, 400) and Rösrath (423) to Bensberg, then bus line 421. Other bus connections several times a day from Lindlar bus station to Biesfeld (335) (there are regular bus connections to Bergisch Gladbach-Zentrum), Gummersbach (307), Wipperfürth (332) and Engelskirchen (331 and 332).
In the street
to exit 21 "Untereschbach" (coming from Cologne) or exit 23 "Engelskirchen" (coming from Olpe / Siegen), then follow the signs.
