Lommel is a city in the Belgian province Limburg. It is the shopping city of North Limburg and borders Netherlands. Lommel is best known for its nature, including the Lommel Sahara.

From the west-east orientation the N71 goes through Lommel and from the north-south orientation the N746 goes through Lommel.

By bus

The bus services in Lommel go through the center and are extensive. The line reaches the city.

By boat

Lommel is located on the Bocholt-Herentals canal and the canal to Beverlo and can therefore be reached by boat.
