Natural Beauties
Majuro Atoll itself doesn't have much to offer but its best activities are based on exploring nearby islands
- 1 Laura Beach (In the western area of the atoll, about 40 km from the city).
Taxis to get here are very expensive, so hiring a car might be a good idea. It is the most popular tourist attraction.
- 2 Eneko Island. It is a small atoll that can be reached by ship in about 45 minutes starting from Uliga. Through the Hotel Robert Reimers, you can book day trips to the island with a subsequent night in one of the cottages set up by the hotel itself, or sleep in a camping tent at your own expense.
- 3 Arno Atoll. It is another atoll where you can spend a night that can be booked through the shop Happy Hands Handicraft, twinned with the hotel RRE. The boat trip takes approximately 90 minutes.
- 4 Craft shops. The craft markets are the most important part of the city. Here you can find many souvenirs at cheap prices. Many times it is also possible to see local women producing these handicrafts at the moment.
