- 1 Gravina creek (at about 45 km north of Manning) – Site of 120 acres (48.5 haand) suitable for hunting and hiking located consisting of upland and riparian habitat used as a wintering area by ungulate mammals. There are moose, deer, black bears, grouse as well as various small mammals and birds. Only use during the day is permitted and open fires are prohibited. Permission must be obtained from landowners before crossing private land in order to get there.
- North Peace Uplands (at about 100 km northeast of Manning) – Site of 276 acres suitable for hunting and hiking consisting of highland habitat used as a wintering area by ungulate mammals. There are deer, moose, black bears, grouse as well as various small mammals and birds. Only use during the day is permitted and open fires are prohibited. It can be accessed on foot only.
- West Hotchkiss Uplands (To 20 km north of Manning) – Site of 160 acres (64.75 ha) suitable for hunting and hiking consisting of highland and riparian habitat. There are elk, moose, deer, black bears, grizzly bears, grouse as well as various small mammals and birds. Only use during the day is permitted and open fires are prohibited. It can be accessed on foot only.
- Whillans Flat (at about 25 km northeast of Manning) – Site of 108 acres (43.7 haand) suitable for hunting, fishing and hiking consisting of highland and hayland habitat used as a wintering area by ungulate mammals. There are deer, elk, moose, black bears, grouse and various small birds. The site is crossed by the Notikewin River in which we find pike, walleye and arctic grayling. Only use during the day is permitted and open fires are prohibited. Permission must be obtained from landowners before crossing private land in order to get there.
