Mengerskirchen no longer has a train station, the nearest train station is in Weilburg
By bus
Buses (LM-68) run from Weilburg train station to Mengerskirchen. The buses run every hour Mon-Fri, there are only a few trips on Saturdays, so nothing goes.
The connection from the more distant train station is much better Limburg (Lahn), from there buses (LM-12) also go to Mengerskirchen. The buses run every hour Mon-Fri, Sat and Sun irregular.
And finally there is also the option of coming from the train station Herborn to go to Mengerskirchen (line 530). But there are only a few trips.

- 1 Catholic Church of St. Mary Magdalene. The parish church of Mengerskirchen was built in 1959 in place of a previous church from 1848, which had become too small for the Catholic community.
- 2 Mengerskirchen Castle, Schlosstrasse 3. Mengerskirchen Castle emerged from a castle that was first mentioned in a document in 1317 and was owned by the Nassau branch line Nassau-Beilstein. In the 17th century, under Nassau-Hadamar, the castle was expanded into a representative hunting lodge. The town hall is now located in the castle, and there is also a local history museum in the castle.
