Line Shinkansen Hokuriku (a branch of the Shikansen Jōetsu line to Niigata), connects the city of Nagano To Tokyo in about h 30.

Since Nagoya, we can join the Kiso valley (for a day or more) by train and bus in h 30, or Nagano in h 40.

By bus
