The Lower Fläming is the eastern part of the Flaming. The demarcation runs in the west approximately at the level of the A 9 with the tarpaulin and the Zahna. In the south the Schwarze Elster and the Schweinitzer Fliess form the border, in the east the Dahme. To the north, the Baruther Urstromtal, the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park and the Zauche form the end of the area.

- Johannismühle Wildlife Park - In the 100 hectare park you can watch wolves, bears and lynx as well as black deer, red deer and fallow deer.
- Zinna Monastery - A Cistercian monastery founded in 1170, on the grounds of which Frederick the Great founded a town that was named Kloster Zinna in 1902.
- Glashütte Museum Village - History, information on glass production and numerous offers to try out old and new craft techniques await the visitor. You can also look over the shoulder of a glassmaker at work.
