North Caucasus Federal District
The Republic North Ossetia-Alania (Республика Северная Осетия-Алания) is in the federal district North Caucasus. It borders on the republics Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia and Chechnya as well as to the region Stavropol. In the south is the neighboring country Georgia.
