Vinnytsia region - one of the 24 circuits Ukraine. It is located in the central part of Ukraine, near the border with Moldova. The capital of the region is Vineyard.
In the west it borders with Chernivtsi region and Chmielnicki, in the north with Żytomierz, in the east with Kiev, Kirovohrad and Cherkassy region, and in the south with Odessa region and Moldova.

Geography
Vinnytsia Oblast covers about 5.4% of the territory of Ukraine. It is located in the forest-steppe zone. It has extensive deciduous forests, covered mainly by oaks, hornbeams, lindens, ash, maples and elms. 204 rivers belonging to the Dnieper, Bug and Dniester basins flow through the region.
