- Clervaux - In the valley of the River Clerve, Clervaux boasts a 12th century castle. an abbey founded by the Benedictines in 1910 (abbaye Saint-Maurice-et-Saint-Maur) and a permanent photographic exhibition, "The Family of Man" by photographer Edward Steichen, born in America but of Luxembourgish origin.

- Esch-sur-Sûre - Located along the state road nº 15 from Ettelbruck to Bastogne (Belgium), Esch-sur-Sûre is a tiny village (250 inhabitants) but very popular as a holiday resort. In its immediate surroundings is the Parc Naturel de la Haute Sûre which includes an artificial lake.

- Vianden - Located in the valley of the Our river which partly marks the border with Germany, Vianden is a very popular tourist resort and can be crowded in summer. In addition to the surrounding woods, it owes its fame to the medieval castle that dominates it.
- Wiltz - The town of Wiltz is renowned for a festival dedicated to music and open-air theater which takes place every year in July and sees a large influx of audiences.
