Olsztynek (German: Hohenstein) is a historic city in the voivodeship Warmia-Masuria on the southern edge of the Allenstein Lake District, part of the Masurian Lake District, at the Ameling, a tributary of the Drewenz, in Poland. The place is known for its brick-Gothic old town. It is in the historical region Masuria.

The place is southwest of Olsztyn between Olsztyn and Lubawa. You can get here by train, bike or car.
